That's what makes a great cookie!
(still catching up...and I almost forgot to include Alexi making sugar cookies at Christmas with her school therapists)
I LOVE her therapists. They always take the time to do things the way Alexi needs to do it, not the easy way for them. Mrs Erin (left) and Miss Dawn (right) brought all this cool adaptive equipment that would help Lex make the cookies herself!
Kneading the dough....
With this one, when Alexi pushed the switch (koosh ball on sensor pad) which is plugged into the measuring cup, it would slowly tilt the cup until it would pour all the wet ingredients into the bowl for her.
Rolling out the dough....
With this one Alexi would push the switch and it would spin the dial around and help her choose which cookie cutter to use.
So many choices....
Watching them bake....
The best part....the ICING!
Sprinkle.....Sprinkle.....
ENJOY!

That is SO AWESOME! How fun is that!? She actually got to help make the cookies herself! How exciting! That was so cool, it brought tears to my eyes I was so excited watching as she got to pick out her own designs and to help make her own cookies! What a very special Christmas treat! :-)
