Glo-e

Glo-e is by far one of Alexi's favorite toys! She got him from Santa in 2006. She spent so much time with him that first day that she ran his batteries dead! Glo-e is an amazing bear! He has a series of light shows that he preforms for her - 7 to be exact. Each show runs for approximately 15 minutes with an "intermission". He even has a wand to share with her so that she can start, stop, and choose which light show she would like to see. The powers of the wand even works from across the house. (This is a wonderful thing for Mom & Dad).

through the bright times and not so bright times. )

After the many countless times that we have opened Glo-e up, used the tiny screwdriver to unscrew the tiny screw (which must not be lost or Glo-e will not work properly) prying out the unreliable dead batteries with the screwdriver to replace them with new ones, Shane finally decided that something must be done!

I came home from church and poor Glo-e had undergone surgery. He did beautifully through the procedure and is healing wonderfully. He will no longer be dependent upon the unreliable batteries that he has always clung to life with. He says that he is a new bear and can feel a new surge of energy running through his wires. Glo-e is grateful for the technology that has made it possible for him to be there for Alexi in her time of need.
